Excellent book. From book one through book six, every one on board ship carries a tablet. Book one came out 3 Or 4 years ago, long before the iPad and Android and the tablet that fit in a hosted was in the being used by every one on ship.
Yes a bulky laptop weight Windows XP table was available when book one came out. Apple did release the Newton back in the 1990's, but it never caught on.
