When books span 11 discs or more I insert 2 albums every 8-9 discs breaking the books into 3 parts (8-9 discs, 2 albums, 8-10 discs) for up to 19 discs.
I continue this pattern for book over 20 disc with each even numbered part music and each odd numbered part disc from the book.
Based on this pattern, Diana Gabaldon's A Breath of Snow & Ashes unabridged is 48 CD's and ends up being 11 parts.
