Great movie. I remember watching the British TV series back in the late 1960's as a preteen. I've also listened to the South African radio show a couple of times. Mrs Peel and John Steele were never lovers or intimate in either of those series. I do think that the actress that played Mrs Peel in the the 1960's TV series was prettier.
