Its been a while since I listened to this book and there was a greater difference between the book and the movie. In the movie but not in the book:
- no super explosive call "X" with the destructive power of a nuke. Therefore no challenge between Barracat and Nichols to test X against Nichols strongest armor.
- No female main character nor any mention of Nichols' family or daughter. Therefore no love affair between Nichols' daughter and Baracat's secretary.
- Nichols' doesn't sabotage the projectile or moon rocket.
- Barracat and Nichols don't land on the moon.
